Another dubious achievement of the Times of India. On AB’s birthday, they devote an entire page to him – the top half is a glowing article and the bottom half an advertisement. Look closely though and you realize that the entire page including the article is an advertisement. The article is titled “A diamond alright – Busy B Diamonds Are Forever” and at the bottom of the page is a diamond merchant’s advertisement featuring AB. They never mention that fact explicitly though that the article is not part of editorial content but rather a paid for article.
On top of the page is a euphemism that says “A Response Connect Initiative” which in plain english means that we consider you readers to be a moron and will take you for a ride whenever we can.
