I remember the exact moment when I finally gave up watching and/or following cricket. Four years ago, on a cold Wisconsin night, a bunch of Desis gathered in a Pakistani owned restaurant on State Street in Madison.

The guy had converted his restaurant into a makeshift projection room for the World Cup final and at ten dollars a pop, we watched Australia whop India's ass to the delight of restaurant's owner and a handful of other non-Indian Desis. It wasn't as much that India lost, it was how shamefully we lost, without a fight and that was it for me. Since that day, I've not followed any cricket match, championship or series.

So while this is a very well written post - Cricket is simply not my cup of tea anymore.
